Dr. Jeffrey Lombard has had vast experience and success in all fields of orthodontics. Having experienced first hand the life changing outcome from the journey of combined orthodontics and jaw (orthognathic) surgery, Dr. Lombard has the unique ability to relate to patients with severe malocclusions. Blending his love for art and his passion for perfection, Dr. Lombard is known for his high attention to detail and careful planning of each patient’s individual treatment plan. He believes in doing things right the first time. In addition to the doctor and supporting staff’s skills and focus, Legacy Orthodontics provides cutting edge technology including a 3D digital iTero scanner (no impressions for Invisalign!), computer fabricated (CAD/CAM) fixed retainers, the latest in clear braces, and the most advanced high-tech wires that provide lower force and quicker tooth movement for faster treatment times in fewer visits.

We look to the future.

Sometimes early intervention while your child’s mouth is still growing is necessary to eliminate the need for extractions or jaw surgery in the future, but at the same time it is important to not begin treatment too early so that your child does not spend more time than necessary in braces or other orthodontic appliances. That is why the American Association of Orthodontics recommends regular monitoring, beginning at age 7. Our office is happy to offer our “Growing Grins” program at no cost as a courtesy to our families with young children. Careful and consistent monitoring will help determine when the time is right to begin treatment, if it is needed at all!

Meet Dr. Lombard

Dr. Lombard was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in life sciences at Pennsylvania State University, he attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he graduated in the top of his class. Dr. Lombard was then selected to attend the prestigious Montefiore Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City for his three year specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. A strong believer in continuing education to ensure his patients receive the highest quality orthodontic care with the latest in technology, Dr. Lombard has completed several post graduate programs and participates in numerous orthodontic study clubs both locally and nationally.

Beyond being committed to his patients, Dr. Lombard is dedicated to his family and community. He, along with his wife Annabel, their son Leo, their daughter Sienna, and their two goldendoodles, Simba and Ziggy, live locally in Leesburg. Striving to give back to the community in multiple facets, Dr. Lombard is excited to partner with multiple schools and businesses in the area.

In addition to being integrated in the community, Dr. Lombard is an avid sports enthusiast and adrenaline junkie. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Lombard snowboarding the backcountry out west, hiking new trails all over the world with his wife, or throwing the frisbee with his dog. Even with Dr. Lombard’s health conscious active lifestyle, the fastest way to his heart is ice cream, anytime of the year!
